Sean James better known as “the Repo Man” from Channel 4, spent 27 years turning up at 2am to take cars off people who were very keen for him not to. Great for building character and cardio. Eventually, he decided he’d had enough of dealing with other people’s bad decisions, but unfortunately developed a talent for his own. So instead of calming down, he started traveling the world finding things most people wouldn’t touch, teaming up with a few equally questionable individuals (they call themselves adventurers) and working it all out the only way that counts by actually doing it. People kept asking how, so he built Do or Die Adventures. Somewhere between genius and stupidity is where all the best stories live.
He just made a business out of it. Do or Die.
Short answer: no. Longer answer: these are high-risk, off-grid experiences. We do everything properly, plan thoroughly, and work with people who know what they’re doing, but this isn’t risk-free. If you’re looking for safe and predictable, this isn’t it.
Not necessarily, but you do need common sense, a decent level of fitness, and the ability to handle yourself without someone holding your hand every five minutes.
No. These are independent adventures. We connect you with the right people, places, and plans. What you do with it is up to you.
Occasionally, yes, Sean does take on a limited number of private, one-off adventures with clients. Just don’t expect it to be cheap.
If you’ve ever wondered what riding a unicorn butt naked while singing Gangsta’s Paradise might feel like, you’re probably not far off his mindset.
Some experiences sit in a grey area depending on location and local rules. You are responsible for understanding what you’re doing and where you’re doing it. If you need everything neatly approved and stamped, this probably isn’t for you. Trust us when we say we know who to bribe.
You’re paying for access to the knowledge, the network, and the planning that normally takes months to figure out. We connect the dots so you can actually do it.
You deal with it like you would anywhere in the world. We’ll make sure you’re informed and prepared, but these are real environments, not controlled experiences. You will have someone with you, a local guide who knows the area and will help where needed, but this isn’t hand-holding, it’s real life.
No. You must be 18+, physically capable, and understand what you’re signing up for. If you’re unsure, you probably shouldn’t be booking it.
Yes and good luck finding the right kind. Standard travel insurance usually won’t cover this sort of thing, so it’s on you to sort proper cover.
No matching t-shirts, no tour buses, no one with a flag. These are real experiences, not packaged holidays.
Then don’t book or pull out early if you can. Once things are in motion, options can be limited depending on the trip.
Because normal holidays are boring. Because some people want more. Because the best stories don’t start with “we stayed by the pool.”
If you have to ask, probably not.
If you already know the answer, welcome to Do or Die.
